In recognition of Black History Month last year, our Network for Members who Experience Racism chose to commission a series of blogs highlighting tracks by Black British musicians, and exploring how they can be incorporated into comprehensive lesson plans.

This four-part series was then written by Saxophonist, Author and Music Education Consultant Nathan Holder, and published throughout the month of October 2020.

You can revisit each of these blogs, and play the tracks directly from there:

Nathan Holder also wrote a guest post for us in 2019 setting out ten tracks that show the diversity of Black British Music, which is well worth a read.
