BBC Studios is making a donation to the Musicians’ Union Coronavirus Hardship Fund as a gesture of goodwill.

As a result of discussions with the MU, following the recent unfortunate situation that resulted in Amaraterra not appearing on It Takes Two, the MU was reassured by the show’s producers that this was a genuine misunderstanding and that the decision was taken for editorial, not financial reasons.

However, the producers do acknowledge that mistakes were made in the communications with Amaraterra and as a gesture of goodwill, and to reiterate their support for UK musicians during an exceptionally difficult period, BBC Studios is making a donation to the Musicians’ Union Coronavirus Hardship Fund.
