Dave Webster:
"MU London is delighted at the encouraging response from its members in relation to the parking agreement with NCP and Q Park. We sincerely hope members take up this offer, however we continue to campaign against any additional charges that may be introduced by Westminster Council over 2012 and beyond."
Member responses thus far include:
Much appreciation to the MU for sorting this out.
Well done and thank you for securing discounted parking in the West End for MU members.
Whoever arranged this is a genius. Well done to all involved.
Great work.
Congrats to the MU for negotiating the deal which will make quite a difference I think.
For me working as a musician in London most weeks and weekends this parking agreement is exactly the reason why I am a member. It’s so helpful to be part of the Union. Well done on negotiating such a great deal, I know my fellow colleagues will be signing up because of this.
Thank you so much for all the work you put in for us!
I and a few colleagues had stopped working in the West End where kit was involved … as parking just didn’t make it worthwhile. Now we can have a look for work again.
I still can’t believe it!!
That’s incredible. Thank you so much.
