March with the MU in Manchester Pride Parade 2017

26 Aug 2017

Pride March

What was once a march in protest and a cry for equality, The Manchester Pride Parade is now a hugely anticipated staple event in the city.

It recognises how far LGBT+ rights have moved on, yet is a political reminder that there is still work to do as the diverse LGBT+ communities strive for total equality, both here and abroad.

Over 100 community groups, organisations, charities and businesses are involved in the Manchester Pride Parade this year. This equates to approximately 2500 people proudly marching in front of tens of thousands of well-wishers who come out in support.

If you are interested in marching with the Musicians' Union in the Manchester Pride Parade, please email to book your marching space.

We have a limited number of spaces for the march and it will be on a first come first serve basis. Please only commit to coming if you can definitely make the parade as they are in high demand.

Please allow plenty of time for arrival as road restrictions around the city may already be in place.

Event location

The Roman Fort (off Liverpool Road), Castlefeld, Manchester M3 4JN
