Apply to become a music examiner or marker

Trinity College London believes that music is personal. Trinity wants to see how it makes someone feel, how they choose to interpret it. To know why someone's music is important to them, and hear who they are as a musician.

Trinity College London believes that music is personal. Trinity wants to see how it makes someone feel, how they choose to interpret it. To know why someone's music is important to them, and hear who they are as a musician.

In a Trinity exam every learner has the opportunity to demonstrate their own musical identity through the music they play – and make it personal.

Trinity believes the exam room is the performance, and the examiner the audience. The examiner has the amazing opportunity to share in the music-making of young people from across the world and provide them with feedback to help shape their learning.

If you share the same values as us as a classical or jazz performer, a teacher and lover of music, they want to hear from you. You need:

  • To be willing to travel within and outside the UK
  • To be able to offer 3 weeks per year, with one full week offered during each of the peak UK examining periods in June and November.
  • Have the relevant qualifications and experience
