BAPAM Launch Vocal Health Advice Workshops for Professionals on Voice Clinic Waiting Lists

BAPAM have launched a series Vocal Health Advice Workshops, to support professional and student voice users who are waiting for a clinical assessment at a Voice Clinic.

The sessions are led by specialist Vocal Rehabilitation Coaches, and will last 90 minutes.

Participants will receive advice on how to look after their voice, gentle stretches to release vocal tract tension, exercises to release tension in the breathing mechanism, and information on what to expect in their Specialist Voice Clinic appointment.

These clinics are designed to be a preparatory and educational support for those on the waiting list for a Specialist Voice Clinic, and are not intended to be a replacement.

Attending a session

To attend the course, you will need to give BAPAM proof that you are on the waiting list for a Vocal Clinic, and they advise that you ask your GP for an NHS Voice Clinic referral first.

Vist the BAPAM website for more information on the workshop, and how to book your place for £20.
