Call for Information from Musicians who Have Been Denied Settled Status

The Musicians’ Union (MU) has received a report of a musician denied settled status after spending more than twenty-five years living and working in the UK.

If you are a self-employed musician from the European Union (EU), resident in the UK, and have been denied settled status, we would like to hear from you.

Please email Maddy Radcliff, MU Campaigns & Social Media Official at maddy.radcliff@theMU.org.

The MU on Brexit

The ability to travel and work freely and easily in the EU is of paramount importance to our members.

The MU continues to oppose any Brexit which removes freedom of movement for musicians, and is lobbying Government and Parliament for freedom of movement or – at the very least – a simple, cheap and admin-light EU touring visa for musicians and performers.

Get involved

MU members are encouraged to sign the petition for a touring visa for musicians and performers.

Love music but aren’t a musician? Sign up as a MU supporter and we’ll keep you updated on music industry campaigns and key issues you can support.
