Change to National Lottery Community Fund Application Process

National Lottery Community Fund applications have been made easier. Organisations can now submit their idea through a website form, structured around six main questions.

Once an organization has submitted their idea and have answered the six questions, their information is passed to the relevant local funding officer, who will then look at the project and discuss it with the organisation before taking the idea to panel to discuss.

National Lottery funding may be of interest to members running community music groups, or similar projects. For example – Plymouth Music Zone received £499,889 to expand their project ‘Changing Tunes’, which worked to break down barriers between generations and support vulnerable people.
