Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s 31 October Brexit date is fast approaching. But we still don’t know how musicians will be able to work and tour in the EU after that date.

With days left to go, it is more important than ever to ensure that musicians’ voices are heard and that working rights are defended.

Join thousands of people marching through London on Saturday 19 October for a final say on Brexit.

The March

The march will assemble on Park Lane from 12:00 pm and end with a rally at Parliament Square, where MPs are expected to be sitting in a special parliamentary session to discuss Brexit and next steps.

Find out more about accessibility on the march, and the route we’ll take, via the People’s Vote campaign.

If you’d like mini ‘Let touring musicians travel’ and ‘Musicians’ Union’ placards for the march, please email maddy.radcliff@theMU.org by Wednesday 16 October.

Remember to share your photos on the day with @WeAreTheMU on Twitter and Instagram.

Join the call for a Musicians’ Passport

Staying in the EU is still the best option for musicians. But if we do leave, we need to protect musicians working in the EU after 31 October.

That’s why we propose a Musicians’ Passport.

It’s a touring visa that lasts a minimum of two years, is free or cheap, covers all EU member states, gets rid of the need for carnets and other permits, and covers road crew, technicians and other staff necessary for musicians to do their job.

Sign the petition for a Musicians' Passport.
