Naomi spoke to Ed Miliband and Geoff Lloyd about the Fix Streaming campaign, and the recent win when the DCMS Select Committee announced that they would be launching an inquiry into streaming.

The Fix Streaming campaign is a joint mission between the MU and Ivors Academy to keep music alive. Over 17,000 people have signed the petition calling for an urgent Government review, and decision makers are taking notice.

The episode of Reasons To Be Cheerful was released on Sunday 18 October, and also features Gray and Tasmin Little OBE. It’s available to stream for free on Apple, Google, Spotify and other major platforms.

It’s a win - but we’re not declaring victory just yet

Over the next few weeks you will have the opportunity to give evidence, share your experiences and show Government why the current streaming setup is unfair and unjust.

We’ll be sharing more on how to get involved, key questions to answer, tips on making your case as strong as possible, and ideas that we think will Fix Streaming and keep music alive.
