Music Declares Emergency are researching the demand for and viability of a Musician’s Railcard to provide discounted travel on the UK rail network. Their intention is to encourage musicians to tour and travel to gigs by rail, once live music events start up again post-Covid.

Complete their brief survey to help them better understand the way that you currently travel, your transport needs, and what might potentially hold you back from rail travel.

Data gathered will be anonymised and collated before being shared with the appropriate agencies.

Music Declares Emergency is a group of artists, music industry professionals and organisations that stand together to declare a climate an ecological emergency. Black Lives in Music Launch YourSafetyYourSay Survey on Bullying and Harassment in the Music Industry

Representing Our Scottish Members at STUC Congress 2024

This week we attended the annual Scottish Trades Union Congress with MU Delegates Christine Cooper and Ben Lunn, who discussed the importance of music education, community arts in Scotland and establishing a Music Expo Office for the country. All three of our motions were passed unanimously.
