Coronavirus Hardship Fund FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Why can I only receive £200?

This is intended to be immediate, urgent relief for musicians facing financial hardship right now. The fund is £1 million and we want to try and help as many musicians in trouble as possible. We are working on ways to increase the fund in future. Musicians should also visit Help Musicians, PRS Members' Fund and the Royal Society of Musicians who all offer longer term support.

In the mean time, we are still working very hard to pressure the Government to provide proper financial support for freelancers.

How will I know if I’m successful?

You will receive an email once we have manually checked your application. Please check your junk email folder.

I’m a student, will I qualify?
