Following our own participation in #TheShowMustBePaused last week, we’re sharing resources which members can use to turn awareness into action in order to create meaningful, long-term impact.

We’re reflecting how our organisation as a union needs to continue to turn awareness into action, and we’ve also pledged to share the resources we’re gathering along our journey with members.

Below, we’ve listed some articles and books that white members may find useful to read while pursuing their own anti-racism work. This list is by no means exhaustive, but it may give a few good starting points.

Moving forward we’ll also be sharing petitions that you can sign, online protests that you can attend, and both online and offline resources that you can use to educate yourself on anti-racism.

We also remind members who are involved in any of the marches and peaceful protests to stay safe and follow social distancing guidelines.
